About Marco Bosch
I am Marco Bosch, born and raised on the Cape Flats (Bonteheuwel and Delft). I was always a visionary while growing up. Despite coming from a well-known poverty stricken area on the outskirts of Cape Town I could never have imaged what the future had instore for me, matriculated at Rosendal High in Delft in the year 2013 I was not sure what my next step would be.
With the world as my oyster I refused to fall victim to my surrounds and the vision I daily had to witness within my community. Without giving much thought about my future, however knowing unemployment was not an option for me I pursued to do research into the possibility of studying Tourism as I had a slight idea of what it entails from what I learned in school as Tourism was one of my subjects.
I then enrolled into the tourism course on offer at CPUT in Cape Town, even though I could not afford a higher education I applied for NSFAS Funding with the hopes of being approved. Not only was I approved, four years later in the year 2017 I graduated with my Bachelors in this field.
Proud and very humbled I was given the opportunity to work as an in intern for a Tourism Company on the V&A Waterfront while studying part time and working full time. During this period I saw an opportunity within the market to establish myself as well as challenging myself to strive for more and greater. Working for a year I soon realised the time has come for me to turn my dreams into a reality.
In 2018, Bosch Travel and Tours was born without any resources except my faith and vision. I sold my vehicle to invest in my dream. I had a plan and nothing and nobody would stand in my way of achieving greatness. Long hours, sleepless nights and a lot of sacrifices went into this planning, I set goal for myself and an activation plan. I executed my strategies to the T.
